Drytac releases free instructional Facemount videos on mounting digital prints and photos to acrylic

drytacfacemountvideos-inDrytac has released a new educational resource for those seeking information on how to adhere the printed side of a digital graphic to acrylic – a process also known as face mounting, second-surface mounting, acrylic mounting, or Plexiglas mounting. In its newly introduced Facemount video series, Drytac walks viewers through the process with step-by-step instructions from start to finish. Divided into four videos, the series covers: Materials Required for Face Mounting; Preparing Acrylic for Face Mounting; Applying Facemount to Images; and Adhering Facemount Images to Acrylic.
The benefits of Facemount – Drytac’s optically clear, pressure-sensitive mounting adhesive used in the face-mounting process – are also highlighted. “If you want to better understand how to face-mount a digital print or photograph, this video series can show you how to effectively do it,” said Drytac Product Manager Nate Goodman. “The series also offers several new tricks of the trade that seasoned mounting professionals may not have considered.”
