Avery expands Canada-USA vehicle wrap challenge to Europe

averywraplikeaking-inAvery Dennison Graphics Solutions has announced that its 2015 “Wrap Like a King” Challenge will be expanded to include vehicle wrap installers from Europe – in addition to those in Canada and the U.S. Installers from 48 countries around the globe will now compete to be named the 2015 King of the Wrap World. “Wrap Like a King has been highly competitive among installers in the United States and Canada over the last two years, and we’re excited to open the contest to our customers throughout Europe in 2015,” said Eric Ide, Marketing Director, Wraps, Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions. “A global competition will take the contest to a new level and show the world what can be achieved with vinyl wraps.”
The Challenge opens on July 1, 2015, with car-wrap installers invited to enter a vehicle wrap project using Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film or digital Supercast films in seven different geographic regions in Canada, the U.S. and Europe. A panel of judges made up of industry experts will name seven regional winners, with one named the overall best in show and crowned the King of the Wrap World. The winner will receive a grand prize package worth almost $5,000 and the regional winners will receive a package worth $3,500. Both prize packages include a trip to the 2015 SEMA Show in Las Vegas where the 2015 King of the Wrap World will be announced. The prize packs also include a 2016 Avery Dennison wrap class, personalized Wrap Like a King swag, a variety of promotional and marketing tools for their shop, and exposure on Avery Dennison’s Instagram, Facebook page and website.
Installers and fans are encouraged to use #WrapLikeAKing on Instagram to enter to win the fan prize package that includes an Avery Dennison Wrap Like a King swag bag containing Avery Dennison t-shirts, retail and restaurant gift cards, and signed merchandise from West Coast Customs. Please visit www.wraplikeaking.com for official rules and to sign up for contest updates. Submissions will be accepted – and official contest rules and regulations, judges and prize information – will be available July 1.
