Copyright Copy Centre upgrades to new EBA 5560LT Paper Cutter from Sydney Stone

Copyright Copy Centre is a Toronto-based printer with a wide range of production capabilities. Limiting the speed and efficiency of their work was an older paper cutter. Sydney Stone offered fair-trade value for this paper cutter to upgrade the shop to a new EBA 5560LT with side tables and an air-lift table to ensure easy movement of paper on the bed of the cutter. “Our existing cutter was starting to get older and costing more in repairs each year. We were able to trade that in for this new EBA 5560 which has made a great improvement in our ability to cut efficiently,” said Doug Bell of Copy Right Copy Centre.

“Doug has been a great partner with us for a number of years and this new paper cutter will offer him 10-plus years of excellent service. EBA paper cutters are exceptionally well built and easy to use, providing the best value in the industry for this model size,” said Michael Steele, Director with Sydney Stone.
The EBA 5560 LT features easy-to-use touchpad controls and a strong, reliable hydraulic system. It’s been characterized as “a standard for cutting in today’s digital printing market.” Its optional side tables provide added working space. Its Plate Air Table provides operators with increased ease in manipulating paper on both the front and rear table of the cutter. This option ensures that paper doesn’t stick to the table bed and moves smoothly. It can store 99 programs with up to 99 steps. Its blade and clamp can be activated independently via its two-step blade activating bars, with separate trigger points for the blade and the clamp.
Sydney Stone was established in 1951 and since that time, has grown to become one of the premier Canadian distributors of print finishing equipment and supplies worldwide – importing and representing brands such as Morgana, EBA, Vivid, Watkiss and Duplo, to name a few. Its focus is on the short-run and medium-run print markets.
