The Digital Imaging Association (DIA) will be hosting an exclusive VIP Breakfast Meeting at the Graphics Canada Tradeshow that takes place April 11-13 at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. Attendees of this special presentation will hear from Dr. Paul Smith, head of the Xerox Global Materials Research Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, regarding the printing industry and where it’s headed. He’ll reveal some of the future print advancements that Xerox is currently developing, as well as research and development strategies and industry partnerships. The Breakfast Meeting will take place on Friday, April 12, 2019 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. in Hall 5, Aviation Rooms A & B.
Dr. Paul Smith is Vice President of Xerox Corporation, Director of the Xerox Research Centre of Canada, and an Officer of Xerox Canada NSULC. He leads the Xerox Global Materials Research Centre, which is responsible for advanced materials’ research and development. In partnership with the National Research Council of Canada, Dr. Smith spearheaded the creation of the Canadian Campus for Advanced Materials and Manufacturing. He’s named as an inventor on no less than 78 U.S. patents, and has 16 industry and industry-related publications to his credit.
