The Printing Industries of America (PIA – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) has revealed the results of its 2019 Premier Print Awards – “the world’s most prominent international print competition,” said the organization. This year’s competition featured 2,240 entries submitted, with only 110 being awarded the coveted Benny Award or Best in Category honours. This year, the annual international competition attracted submissions from Canada, the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Paraguay, China, Taiwan, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates. To earn a Premier Print Award, submissions must exhibit superior print quality as well as exceptional craftsmanship.
The Best in Show honourees will be revealed during the Premier Print Awards reception and presentation on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 19 East in Chicago, Illinois.
Best of Category winners will be on display that evening prior to the awards presentation, and attendees will have the opportunity to vote for a special People’s Choice winner that will be awarded during the event.
This year, the judges also awarded 745 Certificates of Merit and 376 Awards of Recognition to deserving entries. A complete list of Benny winners can be found at www.printing.org/ppawinners.
