Documentary Graphic Means covers the history of graphic design

-

It must be obvious now to those of us employed in the graphic arts, that we will, in the next five years, undergo more changes than any other industry in the history of our country. Graphic Means is a documentary that covers the history of graphic design production through the 50s Mad Men-era of pre-digital design to the advent of desktop publishing in the 90s.

Features interviews with Frank Romano, Steve Heller, Tobias Frere-Jones, and more. After a successful Kickstarter campaign and production, Briar Levit is in post-production and hoping for a release this winter.
