Industry update: Frustration, perspiration and inspiration

Joe Mulcahy.

By Joe Mulcahy, Publisher, Graphic Arts Magazine.
The past several weeks have yielded examples of personal frustration (staying home and keeping our social distance), perspiration (plain hard work), and most of all, inspiration in the form of printing companies here and south of the border stepping up to the plate to help society fight this scourge.
Below are just a few examples that I recently chose from our news pages at www.graphicartsmag.com. We’ll continue to keep you up to date each and every day.

A virtual tradeshow!
The UK-based Global PrintExpo will now launch as a fully virtual exhibition in June. It will work the same way that a live tradeshow does, except that anyone can visit the show online 24/7, 365 days a year, from anywhere in the world. It should be very interesting to see how this groundbreaking approach is received. Please stay healthy and stay safe – and we’ll emerge from this even stronger!
