The new app includes the following key functions for quick access to product information and support:
- Search is a ‘help me choose’ feature that guides the user in exploring all the printing and cutting products available from Mimaki. By answering a few basic questions on device type, application, ink type and media handling, users can view a suggested list of Mimaki products that fit the selected criteria.
- The Printers and Plotters buttons let users browse through the company’s products, with more information available on any product with a simple touch of the screen.
- The Ink button provides detailed information on all Mimaki original inks – including characteristics, suitability for an application, part numbers and printer compatibility.
- The Dropper button collects colour information using the mobile device’s camera, and immediately displays the CMYK values.
- A Contact button enables users to send an email to request more information, or to connect directly to the company’s website.
