Adobe has named Scott Braut as Head of Content, Digital Media and Creative Cloud, to drive overall content strategy and operations for its Creative Cloud business. Braut is a well-known industry leader in the content sector. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Content for Shutterstock. He has over 20 years of combined experience in content licensing, product development, e-commerce and digital media. Braut will lead strategies on how Adobe acquires content through various partnerships and business development. He will be responsible for growing Adobe’s collection of photos, illustrations, videos and other creative assets, while supporting the artists who create that content. In naming Braut to the position, Adobe pointed out that content is a strategic area of growth and focus for Adobe as it builds a growing, strategic creative marketplace. The company recently launched Adobe Stock, a stock content service “to be integrated directly into the content creation process along with the tools creative professionals use every day.”
