Agfa Graphics is expanding its Canadian sales team as part of its strategy to remain the dominant provider of graphic arts solutions in both the prepress and UV inkjet markets. Rick Gargano joins the company as Account Manager servicing Ontario, and Gurshawn Hansi will serve as National Account Manager for Wide-Format Media and Applications, servicing Canada from coast to coast. Gargano will be responsible for the entire Agfa Graphics commercial product portfolio. He’s been in the graphic arts industry for 33 years, spending most of his time with Fujifilm Canada and McCutcheon Graphics in various capacities. Gargano will report to Lawrence Robinson, Agfa Graphics’ Business Manager for Central and Western Canada. Hansi served as a sales representative for Transilwrap, a manufacturer and converter of printable plastic materials. He has a background in marketing, sales and account management. He will report to Steve Fournier, Agfa Graphics’ Business Manager for Wide-Format Media and Applications.

The company’s award-winning line of Jeti inkjet systems is manufactured for global distribution in its Mississauga, Ontario facility – which is also Agfa Graphics Canada’s headquarters. Agfa’s wide-format portfolio also includes an expanding line of Duratex media and Esko finishing products.
