Daniel Farias

Drytac (Brampton, Ontario), a leading international manufacturer of self-adhesive materials for the large-format printing and signage markets, has appointed Daniel Farias as Technical Engineer for North America. Farias will support quality control, technical sales, operations, production coating, converting and product management. He will also take a lead role in all aspects of quality assurance – including continual improvements, technical data sheets, external audits and quality implementation.

Farias brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his new role, having previously worked in a quality assurance position within the tapes and adhesives sector. In this position, he implemented various new systems to improve production and workflow across the business. He also worked in an operations supervisor role for a specialist marine transport company in his native Venezuela, where he ensured the high quality of the products and services delivered to customers. Farias holds a Mechanical Engineering Degree, was educated in both Venezuela and the United States, and is fluent in both Spanish and English.

“I’m delighted to have been given the opportunity to join the group as Technical Engineer,” he said. “Drytac is the leading brand in self-adhesive materials, and I look forward to working with the team.” Hayden Kelley, CEO of Drytac, added: “Daniel brings plenty of experience, knowledge, and new ideas to Drytac. He’s an incredibly valuable addition to our team.”
