Robert (Bob) Mattatall, President of Mattatall Signs Limited in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, has become the chairman of the International Sign Association (ISA) Board of Directors. He’s the first Board chairman from Canada in nearly two decades! The remaining executive committee members include: Vice Chair Jeff Young of Yesco in Salt Lake City, Utah; Secretary/Treasurer Mark Granberry, Graphic Solutions Group in Dallas, Texas; and Immediate Past Chair Chris Flejtuch of Quality Quick Signs in Depew, New York. The new ISA Board of Directors represents a diverse geographic area as well as varied sectors of the industry.
Founded in 1979, Mattatall Signs is a leader in the sign industry in Atlantic Canada and specializes in design, manufacturing and installation. It began as a two-man operation out of a small shop, and has grown steadily to its current team of over 35 operating out of a 25,000-sq.-ft. facility in Burnside. Mattatall has been a dedicated, hard-working contributor to key industry associations since 1990. This includes the ISA Board of Directors, President of the Sign Association of Canada, President of the Canadian Sign Council, and Chairman of the Atlantic Chapter of the Sign Association of Canada.

“The 2016 ISA Board of Directors is one of the most experienced in ISA history,” said Lori Anderson, ISA President and CEO. “They have a keen understanding of the issues facing our industry and the experience and insight to guide ISA in better serving our member companies and helping them grow their businesses.”
The ISA Board of Directors is comprised of representatives of the three areas of ISA membership: Affiliated Associations Council representing local/custom sign companies that join one of ISA’s Affiliated Associations at the state/regional level; Direct Member Council representing national sign companies that join ISA directly; and Suppliers/Distributors Council representing members who are suppliers and distributors. The Board also has two at-large/unrestricted seats.
