Idealliance, a communications industry association representing all facets of the global omnichannel media value chain, has announced that Timothy Baechle has joined its staff as Director of Global Print Media Markets & Technologies. “We’re excited to welcome Tim Baechle to our staff in this newly created position,” said Idealliance President and CEO David J. Steinhardt. “Tim will be instrumental in leading Idealliance’s initiative to expand its training and certification programs into additional global markets, and will be available to assist members on a wide variety of topics based on his strong technical background in workflows and standards and broad experience in a number of industry segments. During his career, he has created high-level customized integrations tailored for the printing, packaging and converting markets in the United States, Europe and South America. His experience includes a wide spectrum of printing processes – from sheetfed and web offset to digital, gravure, flexo, and wide-format – as well as finishing materials, media, solutions, and enterprise software,” Steinhardt added.
Prior to joining Idealliance, Baechle most recently served as Vice President of the Production Consulting Group of Zeno Imaging. He was previously: Director – Strategic Consulting Division-Production Print & Human Capital for GIS-Dahill – A Xerox Company; Director – Production Systems with the Ricoh Production Printing Group in Austin, Texas; Managing Director, Innovatia Holdings Limited (Dublin, Ireland); and Vertical Account Manager for Central and South America, F.R. Gross Corporation (Caracas, Venezuela).
A graduate of the University of Dayton (Ohio) with a B.A. in International Communications Management, Baechle has been a speaker at printing industry trade events throughout Europe on topics such as variable data, postal handling, security coatings, and technology development and sustainability. He has also authored a number of whitepapers and articles for industry trade magazines around the world and has been an award honoree of the British Printing Industries Federation and InterTech Global Innovation Program.
