Trade printing leader PointOne Graphics of Etobicoke, Ontario has made another investment to expand its presence in the digital marketplace. The growing 15-year-old company has installed a Morgana DigiFold Pro from Sydney Stone.
The DigiFold Pro is an automatic creasing and folding machine designed specifically for the professional digital or litho printer to crease and fold digitally printed, heavyweight or cross-grained stock. The DigiFold has been one of Morgana’s best selling products since it was first introduced in 2001. It will crease and fold up to 6,000 sheets per hour. With an easy-to-use touchscreen set-up, operators are able to easily maintain high quality and efficient production.

“PointOne certainly has a special operation,” said Michael Steele, Director at Sydney Stone. “When we first reviewed their investments in print technology, it was apparent that solutions boosting efficiency while maintaining very high quality output were essential. The DigiFold Pro is an ideal match for their environment. At very productive speeds, it can be a workhorse for tough offset jobs. Yet the intuitive touchscreen and set-up means that a quick 100-piece digital job will have the same quality of finish.”
