Canadian envelope giant Supremex acquires Premier Envelope

supremexpremier-inSupremex (LaSalle, Quebec), Canada’s largest manufacturer and marketer of stock and custom envelopes, and a growing provider of packaging and specialty products, has acquired the assets of Premier Envelope Limited and its affiliated operating entities. Premier is an established Canadian manufacturer of stock and custom envelopes with two principal manufacturing locations in Richmond, British Columbia and Edmonton, Alberta. It also operates a satellite plant in Mississauga, Ontario.

Premier Envelope employs approximately 70 people and generates about $12 million in annual revenues from the sale of stock and custom envelopes, both directly and through a network of distributors. Its clients include financial institutions, large and small businesses, government organizations, and commercial printers and mailing houses, primarily located in Western Canada.
Supremex is the only national envelope manufacturer in Canada, with facilities in seven provinces and two centres in the U.S. The company employs close to 650 people. Supremex manufactures and distributes products tailored to the specifications of major corporations, national re-sellers, government entities, paper merchants, statement processors and solutions providers.
