Actega Kelstar introduces ActDigi Near-Line Digital Primers

U.S.-based specialty coatings and chemicals leader Actega Kelstar has added of ActDigi Near-Line Digital Primers to its specialty coatings portfolio. The primers are for use in digital printing, specifically in conjunction with liquid electrophographic toner ink technology. “We’re very proud to introduce a high performance primer line to the market, allowing our company to serve current and future customers in all areas of their digital printing needs,” said Grant Schutte, Chief Technology Officer at Actega. “Our primers have shown to extend blanket life and have superior ‘runability’ resulting in less downtime on press.”
The company’s digital primers offer several benefits including excellent adhesion, easy clean-up, extended blanket life, low or no foaming, and are available for roller or anilox coaters.
