Actega Wit and Actega Kelstar, leading U.S.-based manufacturers of inks, coatings and adhesives for the packaging and printing markets, have announced the formal merger of the two legal entities to form Actega North America Inc. The merger aligns itself with Actega Division’s corporate goals to re-position the company’s focus on market segments rather than technologies. Furthermore, by becoming Actega North America, the company will have the ability “to better service its growing customer base and offer them an unmatched superior product portfolio.”
“We have restructured our customer-facing organization to align with the way our customers see themselves” said Mark Westwell, President and CEO of Actega North America. “Our employees are also excited about the new opportunities this change brings, to provide outstanding products and service to our customers. Our efforts so far will help extend our leading position in the printing and packaging industry.” There will be no immediate changes for Actega’s customers. However, the transition into the reorganization of one company will “improve service and make it easier to do business with Actega North America.”
