Launched a decade ago, Agfa Graphics’ Azura chemistry-free plate system uses advanced ThermoFuse technology that requires no chemical processing. Azura TS is the world’s number one selling chemistry-free plate – a thermal, negative-working plate designed for commercial sheetfed printing. RJ Multi Litho of Oakville, Ontario has been using Azura TS plates for more than seven years. Last week, the company was honoured by Agfa Graphics Canada during its Azura 10 Years of Innovation event held at RJ Multi Litho. The printer has partnered with Agfa Graphics since the late 1990s.
“The Azura plates are excellent and work well with our print production,” said Rajee Vikaran Muthuraman, President and Co-owner of RJ Multi Litho. “We like and appreciate Azura TS for its ease of use. It’s an excellent option – much simpler than our previous chemicals and plates.”
RJ Multi Litho also enhanced its prepress automation with Agfa Graphics’ Apogee workflow, and currently images its Azura TS plates on an Avalon CtP system to achieve maximum throughput.
The next Azura 10 Years of Innovation celebration will take place in the U.S. in late July.
