Agfa to launch new Duratex Supreme Mesh at SGIA 2016

New Duratex Supreme Mesh from Agfa Graphics, along with many other Duratex media offerings, will be on display at SGIA 2016 where attendees can learn about Agfa Graphics inkjet media solutions in two booths (1551 and 1561), along with its newest UV wide-format engines, workflow software and applications created using those tools. The 2016 SGIA Expo is taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada September 14-16, 2016. The event will showcase the latest technologies and applications to enter the specialty imaging marketplace. Attendees will have three days to navigate through hundreds of booths, talk to the industry’s top experts face to face, discover new products and experience live equipment demonstrations.
Duratex Supreme Mesh has a 90/10 air flow, is extremely tear-resistant, and is made to withstand harsh, windy environments. Its block-out characteristics make it ideal for any double-sided print applications. Available in two roll sizes (126″ x 164′ and 196″ x 164′), Supreme Mesh is compatible with most solvent, eco-solvent, latex and UV-curable inkjet printers (using mesh kits). Tear-resistant Supreme Mesh is constructed of 2,520 x 2,520 denier scrim reinforcement and a 33 x 33 weave. “We’re committed to bringing high quality, wide-format media to the industry at competitive prices,” said Gary York, Wide-Format Specialist at Agfa Graphics North America. “We anticipate that many printers will find Supreme Mesh a better solution over 18 oz. block-out banner because it’s tougher and holds up better. Supreme Mesh adds to the Duratex Mesh product line that includes Duratex Standard Mesh, Premium Mesh and Black Back Mesh. The wider Duratex line includes value selections in banner, backlit, adhesive backed, rigid and textile media. The Duratex brand serves the UV, latex and solvent markets.
