Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions is adding SC900 RV Easy Apply, specially designed for use in the Recreational Vehicle (RV) segment, to its screen and cut film portfolio in North America. SC900 RV EZ, an extension of the Avery Dennison Supercast 900 Series, features an adhesive specifically designed for recreational vehicle substrates and their need for long-term durability. It’s available in the full colour range of the SC900 films, as well as popular RV industry colours.
The new film is equipped with Avery Dennison’s patented Easy Apply (EZ) adhesive technology. Easy Apply is an air egress adhesive pattern that allows for simple and speedy application of graphics. It eliminates entrapped air bubbles and allows installers to re-position the material before squeegeeing it into place. SC900 RV adhesive can withstand a wide range of temperatures – from below 40 degrees F to as high as 90 degrees F. The film is built to last in low temperatures too, ultimately extending the life of the RV’s graphics. It will adhere firmly to almost any surface including painted metals and smooth fibreglass.
As mentioned earlier, it’s available in the full colour range of the SC900 films, plus the standard industry colours of white sparkle, white opaque, black, medium charcoal metallic, black metallic, bright blue metallic and champagne mist metallic. Custom colour matching is available for large orders. “The wide range of colours allows customers and installers to create a customized look for an RV to match their adventurous spirit and make a statement while on the road,” said the company.
