Canadian Business Media Awards calls for entries

cbaawards-inThe 62nd Annual Canadian Business Media (CBM) Awards named in Memory of Kenneth R. Wilson (formerly the KRW Awards) is searching for Canada’s best in business press from the year 2015. Submissions are now being accepted for awards in 30 categories, recognizing excellence in the creation of written, visual, digital and integrated magazine content. The early-bird deadline for submissions is Monday, February 8, 2016 at midnight (EST). Entering by this date means the submissions fee will be discounted in most categories. This year, seven new categories have been added that reflect the ever-changing landscape of the business magazine industry. They include Best Technical Content, Best Use of Data, Best Use of Video/Webcast, Best Words and Pictures, Best In-House Cover, Best E-newsletter and Best Media Brand. The CBM Awards is also accepting nominations for the Harvey Southam Leadership Award, the highest individual honour bestowed by Canadian Business Media. Named in honour of journalist Harvey Southam, this award recognizes outstanding career achievements, contributions to the industry, and overall leadership of a member of the Canadian B2B media industry. The award is open to publishers, editors, designers, creators, circulation experts, marketing, sales and promotion professionals, production managers – in short, to everyone in the industry. It cannot be given posthumously. The CBM Awards Committee is also currently recruiting judges for written, visual, digital and integrated categories.
