Dell releases new UltraSharp Monitors

The new additions to its line of colour-accurate monitors are the Dell UltraSharp 25 and Dell UltraSharp 27 with PremierColor and ultra-thin bezels. The Dell 25 features 25 inches of “superb screen clarity” on a QHD 2560 x 1440 resolution monitor, with colour consistency across a wide 178°/178° viewing angle. Each monitor is factory tuned at 99% sRGB with a deltaE <3. A dual or multi-monitor set-up takes advantage of its ultra-thin bezel that’s ideal for a seamless, virtually borderless viewing between monitors. Easy Arrange technology lets users choose how to view their custom window layout. All applications are tiled side-by-side with nothing buried. The monitor can be positioned for maximum comfort with a full range of tilt, pivot, swivel and height adjustments, along with easy connections to a user’s PC and peripherals.

The Dell UltraSharp 27 features consistent, accurate hues right out of the box with factory-colour calibration. Professional design standards include 99% Adobe RGB and 100% sRGB at a deltaE of less than 2. Users can adjust shades to their preference of saturation or hue, or choose to further calibrate the monitor with the optional X-rite Display Pro Colorimeter – which allows access to a 14-bit LUT (Look-Up Table) via the Dell UltraSharp Color Calibration Solution software. The 27 has a high colour gamut and depth – a 120% colour gamut and 1.07 billion colours help enable smooth gradations of colour and “razor-sharp” details.
