Dscoop announces bold new direction

At the recently concluded Dscoop Phoenix Imagine Conference (Phoenix, Arizona), the organization revealed that it’s beginning a journey of revitalization. The vision – Innovating Print, Together – provides an opportunity for brand growth and a new value focus. “Our strategic intent is to expand the engagement of our customers and partners with Dscoop beyond the conference atmosphere,” said Keith Wilmot, Dscoop CEO. “We’ll achieve this by launching innovate solutions and products to deliver value to our ecosystem.” Dscoop also announced new leadership and a refocused brand promise. New leadership included Keith Wilmot, Dscoop CEO; Julian Marsh, Global Chairman; Peter Van Teeseling, COO; Ken Mead, AMS Director; Shanee Kraus, APJ Director; and Silvia Martinez, Sales Director for EMEA (reporting to Alonzo Romero Lauro).
More innovation through collaborative groups and channel partnerships, insights through best practices and lead generation, and increased revenue through cross-channel partnerships and relationships was also established. Dscoop will also be focused on talent management, next-generation leader engagement and continued membership benefits through content and leadership development. Dscoop members are also helping to build the new mobile and web platform, Spark. The organization is currently testing and developing it – and member and partner feedback is critical for success. “Dscoop members are, and will, continue to be the driving force behind Dscoop and its offerings,” said the organization.
Dscoop Phoenix took place in Phoenix, Arizona March 1 – 4, 2017. The event included over 2,000 print service providers, Jetcomm, the Dieline, top industry brands, creatives, current and future industry leaders, and over 100 partners. Over 100 education sessions covered the topics of business and leadership, operations, sales and marketing, and technology and innovation. The event also included a ‘give back event’ that benefited the Boys and Girls Club of America.
