Larry D’Amico, a printing industry veteran who has contributed to the development and growth of wide-format digital imaging for more than 20 years, has joined Durst North America as the company’s Director of Sales. D’Amico now oversees all aspects of sales in Canada and the U.S. for Durst’s acclaimed lines of Rho large-format and Rhotex textile digital inkjet printers, as well as the company’s new Alpha Series of multi-pass textile printers. For the past five years, D’Amico served as Vice President of Digital Imaging for Agfa Graphics, responsible for the company’s North American imaging equipment business. His work history includes a similar role with the Pitman Company, as well as District Sales Manager with Linotype-Hell, selling high-end pre-press scanners, image setters and systems.
“It’s been very exciting to join the Durst team and have the opportunity to work with the best equipment on the market,” D’Amico said. “My philosophy has always centered on being directly involved with customers. So I’m enjoying getting to know and working with Durst’s customers and helping them take their business to the next level,” he added.
