ecoEnvelopes awarded sixth Conversion Patent

Minneapolis Minnesota-based ecoEnvelopes, a world leader in eco-friendly mailing solutions, has received a sixth U.S. Patent (issued by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office) for its conversion envelope technology. The Conversion Envelope, also known as the Transformer, is part of ecoEnvelopes’ popular Recochet product line.
ecoenvelopes-inThis unique, innovative technology allows large-format mailers to send 6” x 9” outgoing envelopes that convert or transform into smaller envelopes for return mailing and high-speed, automated processing. The patent reflects the features found exclusively in the company’s sustainable Recochet product line, while building on an intellectual property portfolio that includes a broad base of patents that focus on functionality as well as ease of manufacturing, processing and use.
“ecoEnvelopes continually looks for ways to reduce the costs and environmental footprint associated with direct mail marketing and statement mailing,” said Gale Ward, President (pictured previously). “We have a tradition of creating customer-centric solutions that meet client needs today and provide a thoughtful bridge to the future. ecoEnvelopes designs provide an IP-rich environment for continuous innovation and the deployment of diverse solutions.”
Ward also told Graphic Arts Magazine that her company’s popular ad mail solutions have already been approved by Canada Post, and she is currently working on ecoEnvelopes’ Conversion solutions for letter mail here in Canada.
