Epson Canada is introducing its most advanced SureColor S-Series of wide-format 64-inch solvent inkjet printers for the signage, vehicle graphics and fine art reproduction markets. With new and improved features, the Epson SureColor S-Series of printers provides increased productivity through faster printing speeds and ink-drying times, reliability from their automated maintenance systems, and improved image quality from Epson’s UltraChrome GS3 solvent ink systems.
The new line-up includes the SureColor S40600 for the entry-level signage printer, the SureColor S60600, Epson’s most productive signage printer to date, and the SureColor S80600 for finely detailed photographic signage.
Features of the new Epson SureColor S-Series of printers includes:
- Epson UltraChrome GS3 solvent ink, a newly formulated fast-drying ink that delivers outstanding print quality, durability and superior media compatibility. The SureColor S80600 Printer also incorporates a new red solvent ink for an expanded colour gamut, plus optional white or silver ink for “best-in-class photographic output quality.”
- Same-day lamination. Epson’s fast-drying inks allow for final lamination only 6 hours after printing – an industry first, said the company.
- New Epson Dual-Array PrecisionCore TFP Print Head. This new print head offers high performance and consistency, along with variable size ink droplet technology for “remarkable photographic print quality.”
-
New precision media feeding system. Robust, motorized, roll-to-roll media handling with Automatic Tension Control technology provides accurate media feeding and take-up, enabling unattended roll-to-roll printing. - Simple operation and maintenance. Unlike most signage printers requiring maintenance once per day, Epson’s new SureColor S-Series of printers requires maintenance only once per month for most users. Automated maintenance systems allow for faster switching between media types, and a reduction in the need for manual print head maintenance.
