Print-finishing specialist Sydney Stone has partnered with OEMs Duplo, Ricoh and Xante to host a special 2-day Open House Wednesday and Thursday, September 14 and 15, 2022, at its Mississauga, Ontario showroom. During this event there’ll be live demonstrations on a wide range of products including the Xante X-33 UV flatbed printer, which will be producing printed pieces finished on a Duplo DPC 600 Digital Die Cutter. An in-house Ricoh C-5300 Series Printer will also be printing a variety of output that will then be embellished on the Duplo DDC-810 raised spot UV system and the DFL-500 laminator and foiling system. These enhanced creations will be utilized on book covers perfect bound on the Duplo DB-290, and the new Duplo DC-648. The popular Duplo DC-618 slitter/cuter/creasers will be showcasing the automation capabilities of utilizing the Fiery workflow matched with the Ricoh print engine, to read barcodes and automatically pull job files to finish the specific piece – all without operator intervention.
