Fujifilm North America (Hanover Park, Illinois) and its Graphic Systems Division have announced a collaboration with Zund America (Oak Creek, Wisconsin), a leading industry supplier of cutting solutions for a wide variety of materials – including corrugated display & packaging, sign & display materials, and folding-carton applications. The collaboration will enable Fujifilm’s printer customers to obtain access to Zund America’s collection of cutting technologies and methods that provide comprehensive solutions for packaging, marketing materials and signage, among others.
“We are pleased to work alongside Zund America to answer the needs of our customers looking for cost-effective, successful cutting solutions,” said Todd Zimmerman, Division President at Fujifilm North America’s Graphic Systems Division. “As we move into the future of printing, and as integration and automation become increasingly important, it was critical for us to continue to evolve as it relates to finishing. With our combined efforts, Fujifilm and Zund America’s digital cutting systems will offer specialized resources designed for professionals that need to deliver high quality and diverse products under tight turnarounds in an evolving market,” Zimmerman added.
Under the new partnership, Fujifilm North America will market and sell all of the digital cutting systems available from Zund America to print service providers in Canada and the United States – offering a complete solution across multiple print markets, including the growing sign & display and packaging sectors. Zund America’s cutting systems will complement the expansive portfolio of Fujifilm solutions – from the OEM’s Acuity LED 1600 printers to the modular OnsetX Series of printers and beyond, said Fujifilm.
