Goss to showcase product and customer innovations at Graph Expo 15

gossatgraphexpo-inGoss International will highlight the unique advantages of its web-offset technology for commercial, newspaper and packaging applications at Graph Expo 2015 in Chicago September 13 – 16 in at booth 853. The company will focus on its ground-breaking product portfolio for the commercial, newspaper and packaging markets, highlighting the Goss Sunday Vpak press for high-quality, short-run packaging applications, and the Magnum Compact press for short-run to medium-run book, newspaper and semi-commercial applications, as well as its wide range of Goss Sunday commercial web presses.
Goss will also provide further information about its latest partner solutions, such as Alwan’s Color Expertise Technology. Now commercially available across the full Goss product range, this software suite includes extended colour gamut, enabling customers to add two or three inks to conventional process inks for exact brand colour reproduction without the need for spot inks. Facilitating a substantial reduction in the costs usually associated with ink changeovers, the update is expected to bring customers 30% to 50% cost reductions compared to the use of spot inks through a combination of eliminating ink changeovers and reduced ink inventories, said the OEM. Alwan’s Color Expertise Technology also features G7-certified colour management and quality control software that helps to increase print quality and consistency, reduce costs and ultimately maximize productivity across the production cycle.

Mike D’Angelo, Goss Managing Director for the Americas.

“Graph Expo is the ideal platform for Goss to engage with customers and prospects about our latest product developments and partner innovations across market sectors,” says Mike D’Angelo, Goss Managing Director for the Americas. “We always welcome the chance to communicate directly with printing companies of all sizes, and provide details of how Goss technologies can potentially re-expand margins, revitalize production capabilities and create flexible-run-length opportunities.”
The Goss Lifetime Support team will also be on hand to present parts, service and enhancement programs designed to extend the competitive lifespan of both its presses and finishing systems. Visitors who stop by the Goss booth will also find out what special parts promotions are being offered at the show. Recent Goss customer projects in the U.S. will also be a key feature at its booth – including the first Magnum Compact press system in the U.S. at Advance Publishing in Staten Island, and the installation of the first triple-wide Goss Uniliner press at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
