The program recognizes graphic communications companies for their outstanding human relations efforts that contribute to a successful workplace. This year marks GPA’s ninth Best Workplace win since the creation of the award in 2000.
“Winning the Best Workplace award is always a tremendous distinction for us,” said Heather Jenkins, GPA’s Director of Human Resources. “Programs like these allow companies like ours the opportunity to focus time and attention on internal programs and obtain industry feedback on best practices. It’s particularly important to us, as a growing company, to remain true to the values that GPA was founded on and honour them as we continue to evolve as an industry leader. This designation lets us know that we’re continuing on the right track.”
A distinguished panel of industry Human Resources experts evaluated the submissions and selected this year’s winners. All applicants were judged on eight criteria: management practices, work environment, training and development, recognition and awards, workplace health and safety, health and wellness, financial security and work-life balance.
