Specialty substrate leader GPA has introduced the first video in a series of technical product overviews featuring Greg Kestler, GPA’s Director of Technical Products. Kestler reviews the advantages and profitable uses for Styrene in a short, user-friendly manner that makes it understandable for individuals from all levels of the graphic arts and printing industries. In the new video, he educates viewers about the features of this “workhorse” synthetic substrate, and addresses Styrene’s advantages and limitations while showcasing real-life examples and sharing tips for creating successful applications.
GPA created the video to help educate viewers about the different substrates available to them, and illustrate how GPA’s customers can confidently use them to create profitable applications in a variety of markets. Additionally, it helps take the mystery out of printing on different synthetic substrates.
GPA offers Styrene for sheetfed, offset and HP Indigo presses in gauges ranging from 10 through 30 mil in a variety of opacities – from translucent, for uses such as illuminated signage, to double opaque for graphics that call for no show-through.
