The 2016 Must See ’Ems Award winners have been selected and will be on exhibit at Graph Expo September 25 – 28 in Orlando, Florida’s Orange County Convention Center. Chosen by a panel of industry experts, these innovative technologies represent the most compelling advances in 11 categories spanning the entire graphic communications industry. “Every year, the Must See ’Ems competition is one of the highlights of Graph Expo,” said Thayer Long, President of show organizer Graphic Arts Show Company (GASC). “This year is certainly no exception, with an exciting line-up of new technologies and innovative advances in each category and industry segment. Especially noteworthy for Graph Expo 16, this year’s winning entries include submissions from two new exhibitors to the show – and 2016 also set a new record for the number of entries in two of the 11 product categories. These were Management Systems and The Future of Print: Technology Demonstrations.”
In addition, Best of Category winners for each of the 11 categories will be revealed during the pre-show Executive Outlook Conference, which takes place on Sunday, September 25 from 8 am to noon, just before the noon opening of the tradedshow. Also to be announced at Executive Outlook will be the Legacy Award, which is given to a previous Must See ’Ems winner that has had a lasting and profound impact on the graphic communications industry. Graph Expo 16 also will offer a special Must See ’Ems Pre-Show Webinar, New Technologies from the Graph Expo 16 Must See ’Ems, presented by the Graphic Arts Show Company (GASC) via www.PrintingNews.com and featuring host Hal Hinderliter, coordinator for Must See ’Ems program. The free live webinar that will be aired on Thursday, August 25 at 1 PM EDT will highlight the winners and their innovations which could impact business and possibly revolutionize market segments.
