Heidelberg to host live remote ‘Folding Frenzy’ demos of postpress productivity starting Wednesday

Heidelberg Stahlfolder TH/KH 82.

During the first two weeks of February, Heidelberg USA will host a series of folding demonstrations using its Stahlfolder TH/KH 82. Under the name Folding Frenzy, these live remote demos are open to the North American market beginning Wednesday, February 3 through Friday, February 12. The series of educational broadcasts will allow customers to see postpress productivity live from the comfort of their offices. Each demonstration will contrast conventional folding equipment with the cutting-edge technology from Heidelberg that will focus on the modern folding process, from feeder to delivery, while showing the productivity gains achievable with the latest generation of Heidelberg folders. Highlights will include the Stahlfolder TH 82 6/4/4 with continuous feeder and a VSA delivery (vertical stacker), as well as the Stahlfolder KH 82 4/KTLL with PFX feeder and alpha 500 HD delivery.
“The customer responses have been very positive – requests come in on a daily basis,” said Joerg Daehnhardt, Vice President of Postpress Product Management at Heidelberg. “We’re excited about our Folding Frenzy and we’ll expand the live broadcast to other products in the near future.”
Overall, the Stahlfolder KH 82 can increase a printer’s net output by an average of at least 1,000 sheets per hour, said the OEM. Each demo will take about 30 minutes and will be followed by a question-and-answer session. There are multiple times available each day.
