Calling them the world’s smallest laser printers in their class, HP has unveiled its HP LaserJet Pro M15 and M28 series that are “designed to give micro and small business owners unparalleled fast and productive printing that fits absolutely anywhere.”
“The micro-business economy has never been stronger, and today’s entrepreneurs are looking for smaller, design-oriented products that occupy less space, deliver excellent print quality, and make it easy to print from a smartphone,” said Premal Kazi, Head of Home Business Printing at HP. “We designed our new LaserJet Pro line with ease of use, size, and mobility in mind, so that users can focus on running their businesses, whether in a home office, shared working space, or on the go.”
Now 30% smaller than the previous generation, the HP LaserJet Pro M15 and M28 printers are about as tall as a standard No. 2 pencil, or the average smartphone, said the OEM. “The printers feature a sleek compact design that will fit nearly anywhere.” They can print at speeds up to 18-19 pages per minute, allowing users to quickly finish projects on a tight schedule. The M15 and M28 also allow mobile workers to easily print business documents and scan on the go, all from their smartphone or tablet. For example, the HP Smart App is designed to completely control the printer from a smartphone, offering simple set-up in minutes, fast scanning to the cloud, and making it more convenient to order supplies or print from virtually anywhere. In addition to the HP Smart App, the new laser devices also support Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Mopria-certified and Wi-Fi Direct.
“The smallest laser printers in their class are also HP’s lowest priced. They’re intuitive, feature a simple design, and automatically save energy with HP Auto-on/Auto-off technology. In addition, pre-installed cartridges help users get printing professional-quality documents right out of the box,” HP added. HP’s new LaserJet Pro M15 and M28 series are scheduled to become available for purchase worldwide starting next month.
