Intec Printing Solutions has expanded its digital imaging and finishing solutions’ portfolio with the launch of the ColorFlare 1000LX as part of its ColorFlare range of lamination and foiling equipment. This flagship model is ideal for the affordable creation of stunning decorative effects with lamination, metallic and holographic foiling. “Each ColorFlare model allows the transformation of ordinary printed sheets from any digital printer and copier, to the extraordinary,” said the OEM.
The technology features gold, silver and other metallic foiling effects for short-run greetings cards, wedding stationery, business cards, book jackets, small packaging, point-of-sale and other luxury items.
The ColorFlare 1000XL is also ideal for matte, gloss and soft-touch lamination, holographic special effects and spot-gloss flaring. A second additional flaring roller assembly enables dual and even multiple metallic rolls to be loaded for foiling at the same time, thus reducing set-up times and enabling much faster and more efficient media switches.
