Mohawk announces new multi-million-dollar envelope manufacturing facility

Mohawk, North America’s largest privately-owned manufacturer of fine papers, envelopes and specialty substrates for commercial and digital printing, has announced plans to operate a new state-of-the-art envelope manufacturing facility in the town of South Hadley, Massachusetts to better serve its existing clients, including those in Canada. Mohawk entered into a seven-year lease agreement on the 112,342-square-foot facility January 1. Pending successful completion of the ongoing lease negotiation, construction is scheduled to begin this month, and the facility is expected to be fully operational by the end of April.
