Manufactured by Arjowiggins Creative Papers and distributed exclusively by Mohawk in North America, The Curious Collection line of fine papers features seven unique and tactile grades for special projects that call for saturated colours and unusual textures. These include Curious Translucents, Curious Particles, Curious Metallics, Curious Cosmic, Curious Matter, Curious Touch and Curious Skin. Envelopes made with papers from this collection are ideal for eye-catching invitations and social stationery, and are “likely to increase open rates for direct mail,” said the company. Curious Collection envelopes are stocked and available in A2 and A7 sizes, and special makes are available. Grades and colours available include: Curious Matter. Featuring potato starch to create an intriguing tactile experience. Envelopes are stocked in Adiron Blue, Andina Grey, Black Truffle, Desiree Red, Goya White, and Ibizenca Sa. Curious Metallics. A rich, glittering alloy that adds a shimmery, visual appearance and tactile texture in 24 colours. Envelopes are stocked in Galvanized, Gold Leaf, Ice Gold, Ice Silver, Ionised, Red Lacquer, Super Gold and White Gold. Curious Particles. A 100% recycled flecked paper with inclusions for added interest. Envelopes are stocked in Silver, with Snow and Gold available soon. Curious Skin: Distinctive surface and saturated, bold colours invite recipients to touch and feel. Envelopes are stocked in Black, Emerald, Extra White, Grey and Mocha. Curious Translucents: Naturally translucent papers for use with designs where layering or show-through is desired. Envelopes are stocked in Clear, Pearl and Silver. Conqueror Envelopes: Since 1888, Conqueror has been known in Europe as “the gold standard” for brand identity and projects ranging from corporate stationery to exclusive invitations. Conqueror envelopes are now stocked and available in #10 commercial in Diamond White, Diamond White Wove and Brilliant White Wove.
