Monarch Color Corporation (Charlotte, NC) has unveiled its new LED-cured offset Inks. Monarch launched the new series of LED-cured offset inks, and in fact, already has multiple successful installations printing across multiple offset printing platforms. “The performance has exceeded all expectations for cure speed,” said Jerry Woodall, Vice President of Monarch Color Corporation. “Our new LED-cured offset inks have reached speeds in excess of 14,000 impressions per hour.” Monarch added that it has tailored these systems to match the wattage output of the various LED units on the market. The company specializes in providing offset printing inks that feature “an advanced level of performance and quality in all offset printing processes.” These include conventional offset inks, LED inks, heatset and coldset inks, soy-based eco-friendly inks, UV inks and specialty inks. Applications include books, magazines, catalogues, stationery, cards or signage, and more.
