Mutoh America (Phoenix, Arizona), a leader in wide-format inkjet printers and cutters, has launched a new Mutoh-manufactured ink called DH-21 for specific Mutoh dye-sublimation ValueJet Printers. Features include high transferability, high performance with less ink consumption, excellent colour retention, consistent colours under various lighting conditions, versatility in media usage, and the ability to print on a wide range of media thicknesses.
The new ink is available in 4 colours (CMYK) in 1,000-ml bags, as well as large-capacity one-litre bags for improved efficiency. The ink has an 18-month shelf life and is compatible with Mutoh ValueJet Printers 1948WX, 1638WX, 1938WX and 1624WX. The OEM is currently offering a 12-month, on-site warranty (including parts and labour) when using DH-21 on its qualified new printer purchases. “Mutoh’s new DH-21 is a cost-effective, high-load performance ink designed to achieve high density colours with less ink consumption, while providing superior colour rendition with reduced metamerism,” said Brian Phipps, President of Mutoh America. “Its fast drying formula enables printing on thin and light papers while also minimizing transfer times.”
