The best in print was honoured at the Ontario Printing & Imaging Association (OPIA) Excellence In Print Awards evening on Wednesday May 18, 2016 at the St. George’s Golf and Country Club in Etobicoke, Ontario. Brad Thompson, Chairman of the Printing Industries of America (PIA) and President and CEO of Inland Press, was the keynote guest speaker.
A fifth-generation, family-based printing company headquartered in Detroit, Michigan, Inland Press was established in 1895. The successful, publicly traded company has reinvented itself many times over in an extremely challenging market. His unique perspective on the state of the printing industry made for a fascinating presentation.
