The Ontario Printing and Imaging Association’s 3rd Annual 2015 Fall Golf Classic will be held at the Pine Knot Golf and Country Club, 5421 Hamilton Road in Dorchester, Ontario (near London) Wednesday September 23. Registration begins at 12:30 pm with a Shot Gun Start at 1 pm. Registration includes golf, cart and dinner. The cost for OPIA members and guests is $50 each plus HST. After that date, all no-shows and cancellations will be charged. The OPIA is advising everyone interested to register early as there is a limit to the number of participants.
The challenging course at Pine Knot features nearly 50 bunkers, with water coning into play on 8 different holes. In spite of this and the narrow bluegrass fairways, the well-maintained rough doesn’t penalize you for straying from the fairway. This allows players of different skill levels to shoot respectable scores even when they don’t hit a fairway. Its well-maintained greens are kept firm, fast and true. The course plays anywhere from 4,900 to over 6,400 yards depending on the set of tees you choose.
