ftaregistrations-inThe Flexographic Technical Association (FTA), producers of the largest annual gathering for the package printing and converting industry, have announced that registrations for its 2017 Forum and INFO*FLEX Exhibition are officially open at the FTA Store. The Trending Now Forum will take place April 30 – May 3, 2017 at the Sheraton Grand Phoenix Hotel in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. More than 2,000 trendsetters representing every segment of the flexographic supply chain are expected to attend.

Paul Teachout.

“The theme for the 2017 Forum is quite fitting,” said Forum Chair, Paul Teachout of Nilpeter. “Trending Now is all about what’s currently relevant in our industry and what we need to prepare for the future. The variety of sessions will engage and interact with our audience. We’ll address the next generation workforce challenges and how to execute the shift from a craft to a science. Topics covered will also address future disruptive trends and innovations in dynamic packaging solutions, as well as how we can prepare for being compliant in an ever-changing global marketplace.”
Located a short walk away, the Phoenix Convention Center will be hosting the INFO*FLEX Exhibition which celebrates its 35 anniversary in 2017. The event takes place May 1-2. Attendees can anticipate an active convention hall filled by more than 300 of the industry’s top suppliers and their solutions. INFO*FLEX provides the opportunity for two days of intensive networking activity and side-by-side comparisons of the latest technologies. More than 85% of the available 310 booths have already been sold.
With Early Bird rates, attendees can save up to $350 by registering before March 24. FTA also added that the Forum and INFO*FLEX Sampler package will be available again this year. It was designed specifically for FTA printer/converter members who are unable to attend all of the events, but wish to attend Tuesday afternoon’s INFO*FLEX Exhibition and the flexo fundamentals presentations on Wednesday during the Forum’s technical sessions. The 2017 Forum is chaired by industry experts Paul Teachout of Nilpeter, and Bob Coomes of Plastic Packaging Technologies.
