Keypoint Intelligence-Buyers Laboratory Incorporated (BLI) recently announced the recipients of its prestigious Pick Awards for the Summer 2017 season for outstanding products. The Riso SF5130 Multi-Function Printer (MFP) won the award for “Outstanding Digital Duplicator” – determined to be the best digital duplicator currently on the market after undergoing six months of rigorous lab testing. Unique in the industry, these comprehensive lab tests assess a wide range of performance factors and features that buyers take into consideration.
“The Riso SF5130 is lightning fast and ultra-reliable,” said George Mikolay, BLI’s Senior Editor for A3 MFPs. “The device also offers supplies and ink costs per page that are among the lowest of duplicators tested to date.” Buyers Lab Pick awards are based on the results of six months of rigorous testing – including an extensive durability assessment and evaluation of key attributes such as usability, image quality and value. They’re presented twice annually to acknowledge the current hardware and software offerings that measure up as the best in their respective categories. Each product that passes the lab test earns a Buyers Lab’s Recommended or Highly Recommended Seal and a Certificate of Reliability, with the best performers qualifying as Pick Award contenders. Riso, headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Riso Kagaku Corporation, Japan’s leading manufacturer and distributor of high-speed inkjet printers and digital duplicators. Its line of digital duplicators includes one-colour and two-colour systems that produce millions of copies at speeds of up to 185 sheets per minute, are environmentally friendly, and are easy and inexpensive to use.
