Tony Curcio
Ryerson University’s School of Graphic Communications Management (GCM) in downtown Toronto, and the Print Media Research Centre, are hosting a day of workshops to provide timely information to members of the graphic arts industry. The printing industry is forever evolving and it’s critical to stay on top of key trends and emerging technologies. The new Challenging The Status Quo industry day event (as part of the annual international iarigai conference) will provide relevant, practical seminars with ideas designed to be immediately actionable. You should attend if you identify with any of the following issues:
You and your colleagues are constantly struggling to keep up with emails.
You want to understand what exactly “Big Data” means and how you can leverage it in your business.
You would benefit from fresh, new marketing ideas that help you better target your efforts.
Your ticket price includes a morning full of workshops, a “highlights from drupa” session, refreshments and lunch. Your ticket also includes a bonus: A keynote about integrating audio into printing and an afternoon of academic conference sessions about printing quality, manufacturing and 3D printing to maximize this fascinating full day of learning. Bottom line: You’ll leave this event excited to bring new ideas back to your company. If you work in a printing company, marketing firm, advertising agency, or in a print or communications role in any other industry, this event is definitely for you. Date: Friday, August 26 Time: 9 am – 5 pm Location: 125 Bond Street in Toronto Hosted by: The School of Graphic Communications Management and the Print Media Research Centre
