Ramage Zaki, a fourth-year Graphics Communications Management (GCM) student at Ryerson University in downtown Toronto, is this year’s recipient of the Delvinia Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award. In commemoration of the 15th anniversary of the Toronto-based digital innovation and strategy company Delvinia, founder Adam Froman created the awards to provide guidance and support to students pursuing an entrepreneurial path in the digital sector. The Award is for digital entrepreneurs who push boundaries, aim high and take big risks. While still maintaining a strong academic average, students in their fourth year of study must also demonstrate a passion for digital entrepreneurship. The award recipient is also invited to participate in a mentorship opportunity with Delvinia.

As the founder and CEO of Delvinia, Froman believes digital platforms can be used to create meaningful, human connections between companies and their customers and it’s this philosophy that he’s applied to his organization. He established Delvinia as a digital services consultancy in 1998. Since then, he has grown the firm into a globally competitive digital innovation company that offers strategic consulting, invests in identifying ways to commercialize the application of digital technologies, and runs a portfolio of successful digital businesses.
Raki’s dream is to reach many and add value to what they see through digital innovations. She understands how advances in digital technology can aid the persistent efforts of entrepreneurs to stay ahead of the competition. Upon graduation she wants to help start-up businesses gain valuable market insight into customer’s demands through the establishment of branding and marketing strategies, in addition to website and mobile application development. She sees herself working on this independently or in collaboration with Ryerson University.
