Significans Automation partners with Chalex to improve workflow automation

Two industry leaders in digital transformations and process automation – Significans Automation (Burlington, Ontario) and Chalex Corporation (Centreville, Marlyand) – have combined forces to co-market their solutions to enhance workflow automation for their worldwide customer base. “With a shared vision for enabling growth through process automation and reduced project complexity,” the two companies will focus on the cross-promotion of Significans’ development and integration services, together with Chalex’s new digital asset management and file-sharing service (called ArtFlo) for product information management. ArtFlo is the digital asset management component of Chalex’s flagship brand project management and workflow management system, SmartFlo. It deploys rapidly and is expandable to include all the functionality of the larger SmartFlo product. ArtFlo features automatic indexing of assets, intuitive taxonomy (i.e., categorization) tools, matching search, and full internationalization and customization.

With ArtFlo, Significans Automation now has a sophisticated asset manager to offer its customers – “something that has never been readily available to production environments” – according to Significans Automation’s Director of Special Projects, Stan Carmichael. “Chalex is a proven leader in the brand project management space, and together we can now offer tremendous synergies and optimized communication between brands and suppliers. Through this partnership, we’re able to bridge those markets with our collective services and solutions to help customers streamline their processes and workflows and make them more competitive in today’s fast-paced business climate,” he added.
