IDC MarketScape names Ricoh a leader in Managed Print and Managed Workflow Services for the fifth time

IDC MarketScape vendor analysis provides an overview of the competitive fitness of suppliers in a given market. According to the new “IDC MarketScape: U.S. 2015 Managed Workflow Services Hardcopy Vendor Assessment – Building on MPDS (Managed Print and Document Services),” key factors that contributed to Ricoh’s positioning included: strong overall strategy to transform to a services-led organization; large sales and services organizations and broad product range; and a variety of skill sets that enable the company to craft industry-specific solutions for each customer. The research evaluated companies’ offerings through business briefings and extensive vendor demonstrations, as well as responses from thorough interviews with customers. The 2015 MPDS IDC MarketScape focuses on managed workflow services, the most mature type of MPDS, encompassing an evolution to a set of professional and managed services that automate and optimize vertical and horizontal document-intensive workflows and business processes with results and benefits that are aligned with specific business outcomes.
