Print Audit launches Embedded Application for HP OXP-Enabled MFPs

Calgary-based Print Audit has released Print Audit Embedded for HP version 1.0. This release is compatible with HP OXP (Open Extensibility Platform) equipped Multi-Function Printers (MFPs). Print Audit Embedded is a comprehensive print governance and print management solution that brings a variety of print cost-saving capabilities to HP customers. Print Audit Embedded installs directly onto HP OXP-enabled MFPs, allowing users to control and recover printing, copying, faxing and scanning costs. Seamlessly integrated with the desktop versions of Print Audit 6 and Print Audit Secure, Embedded is a complete document tracking, charge-back, secure release and pull-printing solution that eliminates the need for external hardware.
One of the most significant features of the solution is a multi-layer, linked authentication for account charge-back and recovery. This feature is important in verticals such as legal, where the common accounting format is two or three levels deep. Print Audit Embedded for HP is available under Print Audit’s Premier membership program. The program gives office equipment providers virtually unlimited access to all of Print Audit’s products for one low monthly price.

“Print Audit’s HP Embedded solution is going to help Premier members make more money on more devices,” said John MacInnes, President and CEO of Print Audit. “End users will win too. Most customers have HP devices in their mix and this solution will help improve their workflow while improving document security dramatically.” Print Audit Embedded for HP version 1.0 also fully supports swipe and proximity card registration.
Established in 1999 Print Audit helps office equipment dealers through its Premier membership program that was created to teach dealers how to win customers, keep customers and build recurring revenue. To date, Premier members have gained 1,513 new customers, added over $5.8 million in monthly recurring revenue, and retained 80% of their print-management clients. The company has also developed a variety of tools to monitor and control users’ printing behaviour.
