Montreal-based Ultimate TechnoGraphics, a Canadian leader in imposition and finishing automation software, has released Absolutely Imposing v.3, now compatible with Adobe Acrobat DC for Mac and Windows. This new version of Absolutely Imposing is also compatible with Windows 10. Absolutely Imposing is a comprehensive professional imposition solution available as a plug-in for Adobe Acrobat v.8 to v.11, and now also with Adobe Acrobat DC. This plug-in automatically generates impositions and layouts rapidly and effectively. The technology allows users to complete all projects from Acrobat, eliminate cut-and-paste tasks for step-and-repeat layouts, manage booklet and book imposition with just a few clicks, eliminate imposition steps, reduce errors and find the best, most suitable layouts for any job automatically.
“Absolutely Imposing provides absolute simplicity in creating booklets, organizing step-and-repeat jobs, cutting and stacking, creating perfect-bound books, setting different offset margins for printing (including producing multiple-ups) and much more,” the company added. Since Absolutely Imposing is a plug-in for Acrobat, it can also benefit from some of the functionalities available in Acrobat, such as merging PDF documents before imposing. The update for Absolutely Imposing v.3 is free for all users with an active Titanium Service Plan.
