As reported here last week, Veritiv, a North American leader in business-to-business distribution solutions, has announced the construction of its new Canadian headquarters and warehouse in Mississauga, Ontario.
“This new facility will enable Veritiv to expand our service capabilities for Canadian customers and increase the company’s operational efficiencies by consolidating our three existing facilities in the greater Toronto area,” said Jason Alderman, Regional Vice President – Canada for Veritiv. “The City of Mississauga also offers many strategic advantages to our operations, our customers and our employees.”

Located at 125 Madill Boulevard in Mississauga, the new facility (one of the largest for Veritiv in North America) will include about 410,000 square feet of warehouse space and another 42,000 square feet of office space. It’s expected to be fully operational by the summer of 2017.
The building will host 350 employees with additional capacity for future expansion. In Canada, Veritiv employs about 950 people, has a fleet of approximately 115 tractor-trailer units, and a network of 17 warehouses.
